Omega Cemetery
Alpha Omega Road, Washington, CA 95986
Omega, and its "twin" Alpha about 1 mile to the west, were flourishing gold mining towns in the second half of the 19th century. Founded before 1852, and originally called Delirium Tremens, the name was quickly changed to Omega, signifying one end of an extensive gold deposit that started at Alpha. The Cemetery is quite small and no longer accepts interments.
